        Hi, Jan -

I know the feeling. As a design house who built up a *huge*
library of symbols and rules to LCEC spec, imagine my surprise
when most of the customers drift away from us in favor of
design vendors who are "quicker" with dense boards. I think
it is because they do not implement the rules.

Of course, we are more expensive and take longer, because we
take spec's seriously. So we don't win that business.

Such is life. Not enough people understand the meaning (or
the power) of a factory-specific design spec.

For what it's worth, I think you folks do a great job. Hope
all's well since the Benchmark merger.

        Regards,
