Joyce,

Lasercut stencils are physical possible under 4 Mil (even down to 3
or 2 Mil) but there is a close relation with the width of the
apertures. The rule of thomb is about thickness:aperture=1:1.5

For electroformed stencils it is possible to produce any thickness
(or thin-ness) we even produce stencils under 2 Mil. Here the rule
of the thomb is about thickness:aperture=1:1.
