Ah...............but could the receiver READ the morse message on his cell
phone whilst simultaneously browsing the web, entering appointments into
their organiser schedule, downloading a new ring tone, taking low resolution
crookedly framed photographs and playing back the latest MP3 downloads and
annoying the entire population within 20 feet of the event preferably an up
market restraunt at the same time??.................8-)

I'm not sure the phone could be programmed to covert the txt to morse,
but...

A few months ago there was a segment on Leno where the world record holder
for txt messaging (a young twenty-something guy) competed in sending a
message with an old ham operator using morse code, and the ham won. Guess a
100+ year old technology isn't that bad after all...

Oh my.................

So if you wanted to you could bleep a text message in morse instead of
texting it, OR if you were vision challenged you could couple the output of
the ring circuit to an acupuncture kit and............!!!!!!!!

Happy Friday all.

Bill Brooks must be on vacation.....

Those are pretty good, Genny. Now If you really want weirdness, have your
hubby download a morse to midi converter, then program his cellphone to send
the caller ID out in morse code. I've figured out how to do it on mine, but
I have to upload a morse midi file for each of my contacts. That way when
the phone rings, I just listen to the ring in morse code and can tell who it
is without looking at the phone.
