We are looking to purchase an additional exposure unit for use on
primary resist.
We do not intend at this time to purchase a collimated light source but we
are still
interested in the ability to produce a sub 5 mil line and space.
My question is this:
of the 5K exposure units in our search: Colight, Byers, Orc and Olec,
the light sources
and internal construction (ie. reflector sheilds ) appear to be very similar.
Are there any
major differences ? Should I focus primarily on exposure plane intensity ?
If so, why
would unit A deliver 20 mw/cm2 and unit B deliver 40+ mw/cm2 when both use
similar 5 K bulbs ? Are these actual intensities or marketing numbers?
