Phil Nutting put it exactly right.
The process variables are only of significanse if they affect what you are
shipping.
(With some economic and environmental factors thrown in as well...
"over-cleaning" may have zero effect on product, but can cost way too much)
You gotta figure out what the allowable limits on the process variables are,
in terms of the three factors mentioned above, and put them into place.
