Hitachi has a very good machine that was on display at JPCA.

You may also want to revisit your post etch punch equipment, which is
probably Multi-line. Qualitek in Minneapolis is building state of the
art equipment for CRAY, Merix, Bureau of Engraving and Johnson Mathey.
Improving your inner layer registration may eliminate the need to
     "post lam" xray.

Hi,
Does anyone know of a machine that is able to measure inner layer
expansion/shrinkage immediately after multilayer lamination ? Something like
a machine that uses x-rays to locate the positions of fiducials at known
coordinates on the panels and then generates the x/y shift with respect to
nominal. Any information is appreciated.
