Daan,
Better safe than sorry, and you don't have to have the 'burden fo
proof' for customer questions. Our standard policy is all operators (and
supervisors/engineers/etc) must plug in a wrist strap when working or
handling assemblies at a workstation. We also require the use of dual
contact wrist straps and constant monitors to assure that the wrist strap is
working properly at all times, not just when they check it in the morning.
After morning checks, some operators may loosen the strap (providing
intermittent or no contact). Constant monitoring boxes prevent this from
occuring. With a dual operator monitor running about $125, it's cheap
insurance compared to troubleshooting and replacing high dollar components.

> Is the customers concern justified, and should we introduce wrist wraps ?
