IPC/JEDEC Seminar: The Challenges of Going Green

January 7, 2008 € Las Vegas, NV

This informative seminar will provide an overview of the "hot" environmental topics of the day including electronic-waste and recycling, lead free, low halogen, and energy use.š Major OEMs will give an overview of their environmental roadmaps.š Speakers will also examine the drivers behind "green" trends including Global Regulations such as RoHS Reach and EuP as well as consumer and non-regulatory pressures. The environmental implications of these initiatives as well as costs and technical challenges will also be explored.
