Here's a discussion forum that I belong to, although it's not very active.
You can also get more info from the web site at www.quality.org. But, here's
the general info that's sent out from the automated server.

Northern Virginia ISO 9000 Users' Group
---------------------------------------

Mission Statement
-----------------

The ISO 9000 Users' Group is a volunteer organization dedicated to
furthering the implementation efforts and educations of companies
and individuals interested in ISO 9000.

The group was formed in July 1994 to provide educational and
networking opportunities for area professionals. The meetings are
held every other month and consist of guest speakers and panel
and roundtable discussions on various topics related to ISO 9000.

Why a Users' Group?
-------------------

The Users' Group provides a forum for gathering and interpreting
information on the latest ISO 9000 quality standards. The purpose
of the group is to provide the "How" on ISO 9000 implementation,
since much of the existing documentation simply re-hashes the
standard and does not provide strategy. The ISO 9000 Users' Group
provides an opportunity to share experiences, pitfalls and
successes of other organizations. Membership is not required and
meetings are free (although donations are appreciated).

Who Can Benefit From Participating in the Group?
------------------------------------------------

     > Quality personnel responsible for ISO 9000 implementation
     > Individuals requiring a better understanding of ISO 9000
     > Individuals tasked with writing procedures
     > Individuals involved in the auditing process
     > Professionals wanting to participate in local quality
activities and network with other professionals

How Can I Get More Information?

When Does the Group Meet?
-------------------------

The group meets every other month, typically on the third Tuesday
of the month, depending on the availability of the speaker(s).
