Hi Tom - just a word of caution. Using any abrasive that can leave an
embedded residue is not a good action to pursue. The TechNet crew's
suggestions of using a fiberglass brush is a far better process to
investigate. You would be amazed at how much "eraser" you leave on a pad
even after a good cleaning process. Good Luck.

[TN] Erase to abrade off HASL off circuit cards
We have a requirement to use an erase to remove solder from a PCB pad
down to the base copper. The recommended erase is too soft- we found a
hard grey abrasive erase that goes in an electric eraser but don't know
where we can buy more of these. Any ideas?
