They are called " board-ins " and are made by Molex. They have a whole series of different sizes.

Subject: [TN] Wave solderable inserts for loose wires

Hi Technetters,

I've been told there is a manufacturer somewhere of solderable barbed
inserts for wave soldering loose wires to PCB's. Basically, the solderable
insert is pushed into the board and is held into place by "barbs". The wire
is then plugged into the insert and again is held in place by internal barbs
in the insert. The board is then wave soldered and both the wire and insert
are soldered to the board. The wires are 0.12mm (0.005") in diameter.

Does anyone know of a manufacturer of these or another similar method of
wave soldering loose wires? I'm looking for a volume process of soldering
these wires rather than rely on hand soldering. I'd rather not try to glue
the wires in place through wave.
