There is the handbook of nonferrous alloys, which has a section on solders.  If
you're interested in some other thesis topics, I have a couple for you to kick
around.  I can't see where you would get very much out doing what has already
been done either.

You know there is a VERY large book of mechanical properties of
solders ... all sorts of compositions.  Might be an idea to make sure
that you are not simply duplicating the work previously done.  If on
the other hand you are trying to test new alloys then there is a lot
of information in there (the name eludes me but I can find out) so
you could test some more regular solders and see if your results
correlate ............
