We provide circuit protection in a number of surface mount configurations
and our customers have asked us to provide them with reliability information
on how our parts will act in their chip shooter equipment as well as pad
size requirements for switching between castalated and full faced
terminations on 0603 and 1812 parts.

1. Does a castalated termination 0603 or 1812 sized part cause problems
for vision systems on chip shooters? If so why?

2. Is the pad size different for a castalated 1812 vs a full faced 1812 or
0603 sized component? If so why?

I appreciate your consideration of my questions.
Sincerely,
Brian Crannell
