Steve,

How small?  I use a Mirtec MV-2HTL and can detect a fine solder web between 0.020" pitch pads.  I would say those were 0.002" wide or so.  Our machine is a 2007 model.  I know the newer machines have a higher resolution camera option available so should be able to see even better.
