We use quite a few solder sleeves for our harness assemblies. We have seen
no reliability failures in this type of solder joint. Though we do have
some problems with the installations, the percentage of these defects in
our total defects is insignificant. Based on our experience, they our an
acceptable solution.

Hello Technetters,

I would like to have an expert's opinion on acceptability of solder
sleeves on harness assemblies. I have a few pictures of what I beleive
to be dubious solder flow. Help would really by appreciated.

Thanks in advance!
