My advice to remote mail readers like Tom is to get two e-mail accounts.
One for critical communications when traveling and another for forums
like Technet.
Your sys.mgr. will likely be happy to help or you can use an internet
services provider
at home and subscribe to Technet there. I use Juno as a free e-mail
provider. They even
have 800 service when the local numbers are not available..

Subject: RE: Gen - Job postings
Hello:
I know we've been asked to send our messages regarding
job postings to Melinda, so please forgive me if I add my
thoughts. I personally have no issues with job postings,
and I'm not afraid of headhunters. I also know that
scanning or deleting messages is not all that time
consuming. My problem is that I am on the road for my job a
great deal of the time, and the volume of technet mail is
getting unbearable in terms of phone line time.
