Folks,

I was asked this morning if anyone out there utilized any type of protective board cover while rework was being performed to their assemblies. Their notion was that using such might prevent an accidental solder splash or ball from dropping into an area and it going undiscovered.

Does such an animal exist?

I know it would be awkward and cumbersome, and would be met with a lot of resistance from people who actually perform the operation...

Thanks for your help!

Leland
