Our template FAB document asked for 0.7 mils thickness ( imperial ) & our
fab house called back immediately saying 0.4 mils is standard. Asking for
0.7 means they must apply a 2nd coat, which in most cases, if not all, is
not necessary.

So 0.4 mils is it...

( 1 mil = 0.001" )

Hello All
What should the solder resist thickness be? I have examined all IPC-SM 840C
standards but can not encounter any thickness value. Is there something that
I might have not seen ?. I am waiting for your kind assistance
