Jol,
I believe fluoborate baths will tend to leach nickel from stainless steel
anode baskets.  I've used graphite baskets with success in bright acid
sulfate tin plating.  (If the tin-lead is only used as an etching resist,
you'd do well look at tin plate in your process instead IMO.

For plating tin/lead from fluoroborate baths, what is the current wisdom of
using stainless steel baskets for anode balls? Relative strong points of
graphite vs. stainless steel?
