Re-date codes
John,
Apologies for the long delay between question and answer, but it
takes a long time to clear your email after a 2 week break, and I
didn't want to miss anything!
We use lazy 8's (Clear on black) for date codes plotted onto the
artwork. At the exposure stage you just use a water soluble pen to
block out the parts you don't want, and wash the ink off after the
batch. Very simple, very effective and it doesn't affect your
artwork height from the board which is what is giving your
localised track reduction.
eg 9634 = |?| |? ?| | |
?| |?| ?| ?|
? ? ?
hope this helps
