Hello Lorraine,

We use Mydata as a prototype/backup equipment just for that reason...
It is one of the best sollutions if You are up to High-Mix-Low-Volume and
fast Prototyping...
Furthermore, If You invest in Agilis feeders, than Your setup-time is
reduced down to 15 sec per component.
Mydata (MY12 and MY15) are a good compromise when considering investment
costs vs. production costs.

Regards,
Sasha

Subject: [TN] Low Volume High Mix

I've been asked to look at options for Surface Mount Placement equipment
which is geared towards low-volume, high-mix. In common with a lot of
companies, we are seeing a shift in our market towards high tech, low
volume work and we need to assess how best to meet that requirement.
The ability to use strips of components, and/or loose components as well
as the more traditional reels is essential. Most of the SMT equipment
in the market is targeted towards high volume, so I would welcome any
suggestions.

Thanks in advance,

Lorraine
