So far as I recall Grace and Amicon were bits of the same company, but Grace sold
Amicon to
Ablestik, so its back to them.

The shear forces on squeegeeing - and in dispense for that matter - tend to align
particles with a flake morphology flat, so I think that finest grind inspection is
not going to help you much. [The suppliers of flake use things like a laser based
strobe technique and a PC to analyse what the camera sees as the particles fall by.]

If you really are interested to pursue investigations into this area it might be
useful to talk to them and see what they suggest. This way you get a second opinion
and also bypass the filter of the adhesive suppliers.

Come back off line if you need supplier names.

ps: If you buy some ketchup in one of those squeezey bottles you will be able to
write very precise patterns in the honey puddle on your kitchen floor even though the
spout is only about 5mm long......

Subject: [TN] RF-silver epoxy

>Hi, is there a Grace-ful one out there? Maybe IMAP is correct forum, but TechNet
seems to have the brains. Got a tips from somewhere about a Grace product that is
better than average (sorry for challenging half the globe) for RF applications and
highspeed fineline dispensing. But lost the source. So, is there a thoroughbred RF
appl eng with this info, please talk in the fiber. Also, what kind of grindometer do
you prefer (Sheen, Erichsen...)? And do you think such a gauge is worth using for
investigating silver epoxies?
