RESEARCH ASSOCIATE
£15160- £21016 p.a.

Required to work on a three year EPSRC funded project held in collaboration
with several leading UK electronics manufacturing companies and
universities. The project aims to study and control the phenomena occuring
during the soldering of bare semiconductor devices directly onto PCBs using
specially developed materials and techniques.

Applicants should have a good first degree in the physical sciences or
engineering, a blend of experimental and modelling skills, and a PhD or
relevant experience in the areas of physics, materials science, surface
science or chemistry.
