Are you aware of any effort -  planned or under way  - toward  Phase 2
qualification of Asahi AK225 (or one of its blends) or Dupont Vertrel SMT?

Following from the EMPF HelpLine in Indianapolis. The EMPF has been involved 
in testing/qualifying cleaning solvents which meet the Phase 2 guidelines. 
Reports and additional info on some of these materials are available from 
the EMPF at 317.226.5616 or [log in to unmask] and listing of these 
solvents in no way constitutes and endorsement or recommendation of the 
products as to function or suitability to your needs. We have learned that 
some of these materials are retrofitable to older in-line and batch cleaning 
systems, and some are not.
