Steve (and everyone):
The way a worm virus (like happy99) works is by sending
itself from an infected system.
While Eddy's spam to TechNet addresses is well known, he
is not sending the virus conciously. His system is in-
fected and therefore it is either attaching itself to
his outgoing mails or perhaps reading his address book
and sending itself. I forget which exact form this virus
takes.
I'd really like to suggest the following site for anyone
needing virus information:

http://ciac.llnl.gov/cgi-bin/cnotes for happy99
My personal belief is that we'll all get better virus info
from a source like this than we will from TechNet... And
if you're a US citizen you've already paid for the info...
