Hi team - yes, Collins published the investigation of cored wire solder
shelf life paper at the SMTA ICSR Conference in 2010. Bar solder would have
an infinite shelf life. One wiggle to Victor's question would be that some
ISO9000 rules ask for a shelf life system for materials which involves the
suggested shelf life by the material manufacturer.  How you resolve your
shelf life management protocols with the suggested shelf life by the
material manufacturer can be an involved process.
