I would recommend the book 'Soldering in Electronics' by R J 
Klein-Wassink, regarded by many as the bible of the soldering 
industry. the subject of solder fatigue is covered in this book.

We also have eight technical papers on the subject which came up on 
our Keysearch programme. These papers have appeared in back issues
of Circuit World and Soldering & Surface Mount Technology. Anyone who
