Newbie looking for expert help.

IPC-TM-650 details multiple cleanliness test methods.
The SIR test in section 2.6.3.3 requires a specific test board.
Does an industry accepted procedure exist that will permit the testing of a
finished product's reworked PWA?
I'm not sure, is this a completely unreasonable expectation?
