The simplest test for absence of adhesive is to lightly wipe across the supposedly cleaned
surface with a cotton wool pad. I know it doesn't sound very high tech but it's effective.
If there is any adhesion left then it will pull the fibres from the pad. They are highly
visible. Alternatively sprinkle with talc, it should similarly blow or wipe off clean.
What do your prospective suppliers suggest?
