Hello every one,
I received several answers related to the potential assembly difficulty
and yield problems due to the dents and witness marks caused by the bare
board testers.
I agree that these marks could get you comfortable by knowing that it
was tested, but don't you trust equipment? AOI does not leave any marks
at all and yet people use them everywhere.
I agree with Steve that prefers having no marks and avoiding problems at
the assembly rather than having witnessed test that could cause
problems.
Centering the bed of nails fixture iss not always simple due to panel
distortion.
