The easy answer to your questions is yes to both.

Juan,

The easy answer to your questions is yes to both.

My questions back to you are:

Why would you want to re-activate or re-plate the boards?

Are you having difficulty soldering them?

Don't you like the looks of the two year old boards?

Regards,

George

Subject: [TN] IAg PCBs. Re-plating?

Hello,

I have a couple of questions for the PCBs specialist people.

We have a high quantity of boards plated with IAg. Most of them were

manufactured before 2008. The questions are:

Is it possible to re-activate or re-plate the boards with the same finishing

(IAg)? Risks?

Is it possible to remove the IAg and then to re-plate them with ENIG? Risks?

Thank you.
