All,

We have historically used the subject specification for purchase of our static shielding bags.  However, I have been informed that they are no longer specified against this spec but most major vendors.  Indeed, looking at some of the major suppliers (3M, Desco, Uline) the bags no longer reference the 81705 and instead reference the EIA 541.  Does anyone have background info on why the change?
