Long Island Chapter of the IPC Desisners Council

MEETING NOTICE - Tuesday, OCT 8, 1996

The Long Island Chapter of the IPC Designers Council held it's first in a series
of 3 meetings on High Speed printed circuit board design. The series is planned to
inform designers, how and why "High Speed Electronics" will become more common in our
near future. Three Members of our Council spoke about a basic overview, terms and
definitions, and transmission lines. Gary Ferrari (Executive Director of the IPC
Designers Council) attended and talked about material selection and testing methods.  

The second meeting will be Tuesday evening, Oct. 8th., 6PM at Brookhaven National Laboratory.
Charlie Houck from Cooper and Chyan Technology, and Tom Buck from Advanced
Interconnection Technology, Inc will be Guest speakers. RSVP required.
