I have a question on the interpretation of the IPC356 specification
regarding the use of the Standard Electrical Test Record and the
Alternate Electrical Test Record.

The standard record states in section 7.7 (Feature Size Field) that columns
58-71 shall contain the x- and y- dimensions for the "rectangular" test
feature. Sections 7.7.1 and 7.7.2 each say that the x- and y- values cannot
be smaller than 0.0001.

How do you represent a circular feature, do you need to use the
Alternate Electrical Test Record format?

If so, can both Standard and Alternate Electrical test records appear in the
same file?

Thanks in advance to anyone who can help.
