Hi Harvey,
You did not state what you need the chambers for. Depending on what it is you
like to accomplish, -65 C to 125 C may be fine or it may be too large a
temperature range for proper accelerated testing. Thermal cycling (TC) is
carried out at temperature ramps up to 20C/minute; in contrast thermal shock
(TS) which is also carried out in a cyclic mode typically involves ramps in
excess of 50C/minute. TS causes transient warpages causing failures quite
rapidly but with damage mechanisms not dominant in product use. In contrast,
TC tries to accelerate the damage mechanisms thatcause problems during product
use without producing other extraneous damage mechanisms.
