Conformal Coating: clearance from masked area

All - can anyone help me with what the following question. I don't have a copy of IPC-CC-830 and it'll take 2 weeks for me to get a copy.

What is acceptable minimum clearance of the masked off area's to the conformal coated area's?

The initial feedback I'm getting is 3.0mm, which seems quite large, as this is a smaller board (131mm x 32mm)

Coating being used is Lackwerke Peters, SL-1331-N-LF-D/23
I don't know if they will be spraying or painting the coating.
