Morning Roger,

We've been using Metcal for years and always liked them but we are
looking at JBC's equipment. It appears to be pretty solid equipment and
we especially like the power supplies that can handle more than one
device.

The hard part about our justification to switch is all the existing
equipment on our benches and all the tips that we have in stock. So far
the only justification is the life of the tips and reduced bench space.
I don't know if that's enough to make the switch.

Well Phil, Metcals are fine if you like burning through tips pretty
quickly. We are changing over to the new JBCs. Operators love em and
the
tips last a lot longer.
