I don't have access to the Adhesive Handbook IPC-HDBK-4691,
and don't know where else to look this up.

Do adhesive dots have a typical diameter?

Or does the diameter vary depending on solder pad spacing?

Is there any guideline as to when multiple dots can be applied?
