TESTING, IS IT TESTING THE LIMITS OF THE PWB MANUFACTURER?

Verification of the quality of a PWB through electrical testing is an
essential but expensive part of the manufacturing process. As component
connection land and PWB feature sizes decrease, the cost-effective and
technical limits of traditional testing approaches are quickly reached.
Other testing approaches can contact the small feature sizes, but are
entirely too slow to cost-effectively handle significant volume.

The California Circuits Association (CCA) is hosting two (2) half-day
conferences on Electrical Testing. Speakers will include both leading
industry suppliers and PWB manufacturers - Paul Benke, Zero Defects, Dana
Korf, Zycon Corporation, Ed Shea, Applied CAM Engineering, Joe Creeden,
Intertrace, Carl Zimmermann, CK Technologies, Randy Allinson, Probot,
August El-Kareh, Alcedo, and a representive of ITRI discussing ITRI's
committee work.

The cost is $125 for CCA and IPC Members; $175 for non-members.
