This may not help, but....

"Good Manufacturing Practices" means anything that produces a
functional, mostly reliable product for the purpose intended. It
applies to PWB's, Automobiles, Hair spray, and Tobasco.

It is used in print to represent an unspecified quality level which
is not defined because a) it is not understood, or b) it is understood,
but it costs to much if it is called out. Reference Mil-P-55110.

Not all manufacturing practices are good. For example, the automotive
manufacturing practices for the Yugo. "Bad Manufacturing Practices" may
be determined in two ways. 1) The products fail to perform as expected.
 2) Detailed on-site surveys of the production facility often allows a
subjective conclusion to be reached.

As an opinion, I offer the following:

There is weak correlation between ISO 9000 and "Good Manufacturing
Practices". ISO 9000 is capable of documenting "Bad Manufacturing
Practices" and make them appear "Good", which, in itself, is also a "Bad
Manufacturing Practice".

Good Luck
