I am also interested in any info you may be getting. If you could forward
any info you get to me I would appreciate it. 

We make boards with flash gold and many of our customers like it.  It is too
thin to cause gold embrittlement. It is better for smt parts because it is
very flat. HALCO solder is very uneven, it ranges from 30 u" to 3 mils.
Immersion gold is easy to test for us as opposed to organic coatings because
you cant probe through them easily.

What do you guys do?
