Full-time Research Studentship

A research studentship has unexpectedly become available due to the
exisiting award holder withdrawing.

This is an EPSRC quota award (£5k per annum tax free + tuition fees)
and also attracts an additional award of approximately £2k per annum
from Loughborough University Engineering School. Additional allowances
are also available e.g. for single parents.

The studentship is tenable for 3 years and is open to UK or EEC(normally
fees only) nationals with a 1st or upper 2nd class degree or equivalent
(e.g. MSc or additional experience)


It is anticipated the research student will work in an area related to
an exisiting project within the Interconnection Group that is
concerned with the use of anisotropically conductive adhesives in the
manufacture of electronic products.

The closing date for receipt of completed applications to EPSRC is
the end of September 1996, so an early response is advised.
