One of our Engineers has asked me to pass on a question. How does the corrosion
resistance of  Electroless gold over Nickel (gold thickness of around  7
microinch) compare to horizontal HASL? The target environment is a marine type
environment (salt spray). The customer does not wish to conformally coat the
end product. If anyone has any experience or data in this area I would be most
grateful.
