I have an old ISHM Industry Guide that lists several manufacturers of wire
bonders, including Delvotec in Munich, (I'm sure they have U.S. rep); 
Hughes (now Palomar Products) in Carlsbad, CA; Hybond in Escondido, CA; 
K&S in Willow Grove, PA; Orthodyne in Irvine, CA; West Bond in Anaheim, CA
to name a few.  Check with ISHM for current phone numbers.
