ASTM D 3638-85 (from our 1986 edition of ASTM standards books) is 
     entitled "Standard test method for comparitive tracking index of 
     electrical materials"
     
     It's published in volume 10.02 of the ASTM books, "Electrical 
     insulation- wire, cable, heating, and electrical tests".

print from a customer with this standard but have no idea what it is. Any
