Manufacturing Engineer PWB Job Description

	TASKS
		 1 Hardware Management of product from proposal through 
		production.  Includes statement of work, ME labor estimate, 
		coordination with Program ME,s, designers, all functional 
		areas, Planning, ECAM, scheduling, and the Factory.  Includes 
		monitoring and reporting status including schedule, cost and 
		quality, etc.  This includes Program and factory presentations 
		as well as active participation in decision making and problem 
		solving. The job includes ensuring that processes and designs 
		are robust that build the assigned products.  Generate 
		Manufacturing Plans as required.
  
		 2 Producibility Reviews
		 3 Design change planning, scheduling and coordination.
		 4 Tooling identification, ordering and statusing
		 5 Develop and maintain manufacturing planning
		 6 Develop and maintain Configuration Accountability Records
		 7 Represent PWB center on Intgrated Product Teams
		 8 Support assigned PWB center teams.
		 9 Participate in planning for PWB testing to ensure 	       
		   equipment and processes are robust. 
		10 Scrap, Rework, Repair, Hardware variability, and Misc. SPC  
		   analysis.
		11 Shop Stock analysis
		12 Military Specifications, Boeing Specifications, drawings, 
		   procedures review, interpretation and change 	       
	           recommendations.   
		13 Participate in the definition documentation and improvement 
		   of the Center Processes. 

		
	SKILLS
		 1 Accredited Four Year Engineering Degree
		 2 Team Player
		 3 Good Communication skills
		 4 Computer Literate (Excel, Word, Access)
		 5 Prefer some programming capability
		 6 Prefer some previous work experience with PWB Manufacture.
