Franklin, the process is working just the way it should.  You post a question.  Some
of your peers will share info to the entire forum as best they can.  Other's earn a
living selling information as consultants.  They see your issue and an opportunity
and contact you directly, OFF the forum, as they should. Some of these very good
consultants, like Werner Engelmaier and Jim Moffitt, provide a pretty fair amount of
information to the entire forum that they would normally prefer to sell to you.  All
you have to do is hit the delete button if you don't like any direct messages sent to

Am I the only one receiving direct e-mail from consultants after posting an issue to
TechNet?

Isn't this forum supposed to preclude the act of consulting?

I wouldn't mind a consultant offering services free of charge, but I think it s*cks
them using this
forum the way they are.

Has anyone else received similar e-mails.
