HI ALL!

It is with mixed emotions, reservations and some sadness that I am sending you
this, my last e-mail as [log in to unmask]; because Friday, the 13'th day of
September, 1996 is my last day as an employee at LLNL.

Personally it's been a great career here at LLNL, it's been a definite
technical challenge, and it's been "fun" to work on so many different projects
with a wide range of applications of varying levels of technical complexities
and managerial responsibilities.  What has been more gratifying to me has been
being able to learn, share, meet and participate with many of you over the
years in both IPC and other activities related to our very complex and
technically integrated field of electronic packaging technology  -- it's truly
been a pleasure -- and for this I'm very deeply grateful and thank you all
very much.

Sooooo!, as Ralph Hersey as [log in to unmask] departs the scene, and
as the sun sinks slowly in the west   ----

Comment:  Because technet is "international" you may not be familier with the
acronym "RIP", which is "Rest In Peace" and is frequently used on tomstones
and grave markers in the "ol' west" of the USA.
