Ryan,
First, there shouldn't be any fumes around the system if you have adequate
ventilation.
If you're opening the system to work on it, a respirator with an acid mist rating
would be advised. There are cartridges rated for dust, mist, fumes, etc. Check
the Grainger Book or www.grainger.com or call Willson or North (respirator
manufactures).
