Thanks, Scott. Our plant is small enough it won't take heroic efforts to do the right thing. Good to hear from someone in Raleigh. Although I lived in Durham for 20 years, I always liked Raleigh inside the beltline. Louis

Louis,

Forgot to add the most important part. Based on, "Cost benefit analyses". You know the current lay out and things that you can impliment short and long term. Scott B. Westheimer5709 Clarks Fork DriveRaleigh, NC [log in to unmask]: (919)713-0748Cell NC: (919)961-5364Cell IL: (630)267-9655

Louis, You answered the question yourself. When ever you can reduce the chance of cross contamination, it is always a good idea. If it is a good idea, than do it!Scott B. We cut polyimide flex circuitry in the same room in which FR-4 prepreg is stored and layed up for lamination. To what extent is this practice a bad idea? We could arrange to have the polyimide cut in another location, but doing would entail a considerable inconvenience. As always, thanks for any guidance.> > Louis> > Louis Hart> Compunetics> Monroeville, PA> USA> [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>> 412-858-1272> > > ---------------------------------------------------> Technet Mail List provided as a service by IPC using LISTSERV 15.0> To unsubscribe, send a message to [log in to unmask] with following text in> the BODY (NOT the subject field): SIGNOFF Technet> To temporarily halt or (re-start) delivery of Technet send e-mail to [log in to unmask]: SET Technet NOMAIL or (MAIL)> To receive ONE mailing per day of all the posts: send e-mail to [log in to unmask]: SET Technet Digest> Search the archives of previous posts at: http://listserv.ipc.org/archives> Please visit IPC web site http://www.ipc.org/contentpage.asp?Pageid=4.3.16 for additional information, or contact Keach Sasamori at [log in to unmask] or 847-615-7100 ext.2815> -----------------------------------------------------
